Hi! AU student here looking for one roommate to share a great apartment in Connecticut Heights (Tenleytown/AU area) starting immediately. My previous roommate just graduated and moved out, so I'm looking for someone to split rent with as soon as... possible. I'm waiving utilities and the security deposit if you can stay the full 6 months.
The available room is very large and comes with a private, spacious bathroom. The room has carpeted floors and three large windows, so it gets tons of natural light and feels much bigger in person than in photos. You'll have your own space, and I'm very easygoing and hands-off.
Rent is $900/month for your private bedroom and bathroom on a 6-month lease (now through July 31). January rent can be prorated, and you can move in immediately.
The apartment itself is roomy and comfortable, with a large living room, a clean, modern kitchen, and great building amenities (laundry, gym, pool, package room). It's about a 14-minute walk to the Tenleytown-AU Metro and very convenient for American University.
